How did you look before and after you lost weight?

 I’d been obese for over five years, I was 5’10” and roughly over 240 ~ 250lbs before I lost some weight.

I was 250 when I took this picture, that was December 2017. During those days, I never cared about what I ate or how I looked like, ‘cause I never had something called self-awareness and confidence. A good friend of mine Kevin decided to take me to a gym so I could lose some weight. Thanks to his effort and passion, I was able to lose 12lbs off my body.

This is me in my university gym, I weighed in between 230~240 during early 2018. I was satisfied about myself and I never lost more weight, instead I did some muscle work during 2018~2019. However something changed my mind totally—I went to Texas to see my friends during winter break and when I got back to the gym, I was weighing 223—I had never been so light in five years. So I made a decision out of a whim, I decided to lose weight again in early 2019 and my goal was reaching my ideal weight which is 158.

After 2 months of extensive workout and restricted diet, I managed to lose myself 50lbs from where I began!

I was around 183lbs when I took this. I reckon I lost some fat off my body. But I gained some again after my freshmen year, I went back to 191lbs and I freaked out. I decided to lose some more.

I managed my self to lose some more, I walked about 6~7 miles per day, eating less than 1,500 calories. I finally reached the lowest point, 166lbs. In this picture probably I was somewhere around 170lbs.

But there were some problems: I had hair loss, and I was paranoid all the time because I couldn’t eat what I wanted—plus the way I lost my weight was not healthy at all. And, I joined the Korean Army (mandatory service) in November 2019.

TMI, probably I’m around 190 ~ 200 right now, I not only gained muscle mass but the Korean Army fed me so good that I suddenly looked a little bit obese again. I will lose more weight until I reach my goal and I will do it.

*Edit* I’m almost there guys. After I finished my answer I was like “maybe I should do it now” so I decided to make an immediate move. After 230 days ever since I made that decision, here I am now, weigh somewhere between 146~147 and now Im totally skinny xD

Since I’ve done this and maintaining my weight, you guys can also do this. My original goal was to reach 65kg, but I saw no point and decided to stay where I am (66~67) cause I think Im skinny enough already. You guys can do the same!
